Company eludes me.
You’re worried about
Being forever alone.
I am unnoticed;
The pea concealed
In the pod. Hundreds
Of miles away,
Your strong profile
And sharp features
Remind me of geometric
Angles carved in slate.
Nature is in your face.
Nature is beauty.
Nature encircles the globe
Within a cocoon; nature
Is never alone.
